Kim Van Valer is a former Superior Court judge now in Senior Status and splits her time between Mediation and her judicial responsibilities. She joined the Indiana Association of Mediators in 2009, served as its President in 2012 & 2013 and continued on the Board of Directors through 2024. Kim has mediated cases in civil tort and real estate as well as her primary area of family law. She has trained hundreds of Indiana Supreme Court-Registered Domestic Relations Mediators. Kim has also served as an Adjunct Professor of Mediation for Indiana University Maurer School of Law.
