Come alongside IAM on one or more of its realigned committees
At their August meeting, the Board of Directors of the Indiana Association of Mediators approved a realignment of responsibilities for officers and committees through December 31st, 2026, as a trial period with the objectives of:
- Making it easier, more efficient, more effective, and more rewarding for IAM members to engage actively in the operation and initiatives of the organization;
- Prioritizing and better supporting present initiatives, while facilitating improved coordination and support of future initiatives;
- Growing both the membership and the leadership of IAM; and thereby
- Increasing IAM’s presence, effectiveness, and recognition as a champion for mediation.
Documented below are the realigned responsibilities for what IAM is presently doing (and aspires soon to do), the individuals who presently are “taking point” on deliverables, and notation of “[acting]” or “[open]” where we’re inviting IAM members to come alongside us to advance the cause of mediation in Indiana and beyond.
Please reach out to president@iamboard.org with any questions, comments, or curiosity about how you can become a valued volunteer in IAM’s quest to make the world a better place through mediation. Your efforts can, and will, make a difference.
Note: Throughout and following the trial period, committees and deliverables are subject to adjustment.
